ROBERT PETERSON

Aircraft Maintenance Analyst

Originally from New Jersey, Robert Peterson joined the US Army right after graduating from high school. Initially a Lance Missile Technician, Robert was stationed in Germany and later New Mexico. In 1991, he became a Helicopter Maintenance Technician attached to a unit of Apache helicopters at Fort Hood, Texas.

After leaving the Army, Robert earned an airframe and powerplant (A&P) license in 1995.

“The Army gave me an introduction to rotorcraft and my A&P license introduced me to business and commercial aviation,” explains Robert.

“Having been in aviation for 28 years, I can say with confidence that the TRAXXALL team has exceptional experience. Most of my fellow analysts have decades of front-line experience, A&P licenses or comparable credentials and specializations that cover all aircraft manufacturers, makes and models. Simply put, the competition cannot make that claim…”

Later, he was on the certification team for a Part 121 carrier operating the Airbus A319.  He also earned Cessna Service Center accreditation and was a Sheet Metal Instructor at the Michigan Institute of Aeronautics.

“Sheet metal repairs and modifications are an art. Each piece is custom-made and perfectly tailored to the aircraft in question.”

Maintenance Tracking Specialization

In 2009, Robert moved to Denver, Colorado to join a maintenance tracking system provider. Subsequently, he was transferred to Wichita, Kansas, where he continued to work as an Aircraft Maintenance Analyst.

In 2016, Robert joined TRAXXALL.

The TRAXXALL Advantage

“Having been in aviation for 28 years, I can say with confidence that the TRAXXALL team has exceptional experience. Most of my fellow analysts have decades of front-line experience, A&P licenses or comparable credentials and specializations that cover all aircraft manufacturers, makes and models. Simply put, the competition cannot make that claim.”

“For example, we have a client who moved several corporate airliners onto our system. Acting in good faith, they believed that the information from their previous maintenance tracking provider was complete and up-to-date. But our analysis revealed several errors – intervals were inaccurate and some tasks were being tracked unnecessarily. Drawing from our expertise with specific aircraft types, we spotted and corrected these errors. Our client benefitted because our actions eliminated a considerable amount of unnecessary and expensive maintenance work.”

“TRAXXALL was purpose-built from scratch and is continuously being enhanced and improved by our Product Development team. What I hear from clients repeatedly is that our system is user-friendly, intuitive and robust. It’s well-designed and well-supported.”

“Asked what I might say to aircraft operators shopping around for a maintenance tracking system, I think it all comes down to experience. I look at my team and our various skillsets – we have hands-on experience with virtually any aircraft in service today. I have no doubt that our clients benefit from our collective knowledge and experience on a daily basis,” concludes Robert.
