Job Description | UX/UI Business Analyst – Montreal, CANADA

TRAXXALL’s product development team is looking for a UX/UI Business Analyst to join its incredible team. For this role we are looking for a person with strong analytical skills that can help develop project requirements and assist with product vision. Do you have the talent to create UX/UI for complex business aviation software solution, that are easy to use, and are loved by clients and internal users? Do you have experience in software development and an interest in the aviation industry? Then you might be who we are looking for. Your deliverables will range from project description documents to stakeholder discovery, to project requirement setup, to wireframes, mock-ups, testing, and other supporting content creation. You should be able to identify opportunities for improvement and be comfortable giving constructive feedback. The ideal candidate will be naturally analytical and empathetic, able to explain technical or complex concepts to stakeholders. A quick learner than can adapt and grow to our customers’ needs on existing and future products. You’ll need to be a good collaborator and communicator and willing to work across multiple teams, including: product development, product management, operations, quality control and maintenance analysts and developers.

Responsibilities: 

  • Facilitate our product vision by researching, sketching, and testing high-quality user experiences for our business aviation offering;
  • Continuously improve our product’s usability; identify problems and devise solutions, taking intelligent risks and championing ideas with consideration for the product vision and overarching goals;
  • Translate concepts into deliverables: wireframes, user-stories, user-journeys and more, all for a range of devices, sizes and interfaces. Ideally this extends to finalized design mock-up creation;
  • Work with stakeholders to understand and define project requirements, audience, metrics, and vision, while being mindful of the technical and design aspects of implementation;
  • Work with the developers to identify technical implementation options, and work with project managers during the implementation phase to find creative solutions to challenges and obstacles;
  • Make strategic design and user-experience decisions based on theory and research related to new, core and future functions and features;
  • Take a user-centered design approach to rapidly test and iterate designs;
  • Collaborate with other team members (analysts, designers, developers, product owners, QA, project managers);
  • Keep yourself and your team up to date on UX best practices and trends with processes, software, and knowledge.
  • Assist in creating supporting documentation such as release notes, user guides, and other supporting content.

Desired profile: 

  • Expertise in UX software such as Adobe XD;
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft office tools (SharePoint, Teams, O365)
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate concisely and effectively (written and verbal) within high-level technical context, to own and produce documents presented to stakeholders;
  • Experience writing project requirements, in user story format, with detailed acceptance criteria/feature documentation; Excellent communication (written and verbal) to convey suggestions, ideas, designs, and solutions to the internal team and clients through presentations, documents, designs, diagrams, and more;
  • Experience with user-centered design, usability, accessibility, and testing methodologies; Involved and passionate with UX and design at large as demonstrated by knowledge of current trends, best practices, and technologies;

Additional assets:

  • Experience in aviation;
  • Bilingual French/English;
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum development process.

Qualifications: 

  • Expertise in user-experience or product design in web or mobile applications;
  • Post-secondary education relating to any combination of the following: visual communications, design, informatics, UX design, interaction design

Job Description | Aircraft Enrollment Analyst (Montreal, CANADA)

Job Description

Traxxall provides aircraft/fleet owner-operators and maintenance managers with quick and easy visibility to all aspects of their associated OEM Maintenance Program or AAIP. As a Software as a Service (SaaS) product, Traxxall utilizes Aircraft Enrollment Analyst to parse data from customer-supplied enrollment documents and input that information into the Traxxall application via various input tools. The Aircraft Enrollment Analyst will engage with customers as necessary to ensure a clear understanding of maintenance data received and to request additional information as necessary.

Overview of the ideal candidate

  • Experience with aircraft maintenance programs
  • Experience and understanding of aircraft and engine logbooks
  • Working knowledge of aviation maintenance reports
  • Must be extremely detail-oriented
  • Must be proficient with MS Office Suite, MS Outlook, and Windows

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Read and understand customer maintenance compliance records and other data to ensure completeness
  • Communicate clearly and respectfully in both written and verbal form to peers and customers
  • Respond to correspondence, facilitate the gathering of information, and apply technical knowledge, to ensure the integrity of the Customer’s maintenance program information is correctly inputted into the application
  • Coordinate and cultivate positive relationships and communications with all external and internal business units to ensure efficient integration and deployment of customers’ maintenance programs in Traxxall.
  • Understand and effectively demonstrate the parsing of data from Excel Spreadsheets
  • Perform research in OEM maintenance manuals to correctly identify deficiencies in enrollment data.
  • Read, understand and disposition regulatory and OEM bulletins and directives
  • Exercise sound judgment while maintaining the highest levels of customer service and support when communicating with customers
  • Accurately follow and execute all written enrollment procedures and provide feedback to the QC team of improvements or deficiencies in the procedures
  • Accurately create professional enrollment Quality Control Feedback Reports (QCFR) for customers
  • Perform final enrollment audit prior to submitting enrollment to QC for review
  • Work with QC team to further refine and correct enrollment issues
  • Work with the Maintenance Analyst in the post-enrollment clean up as required or directed
  • Perform all other tasks directed by manager/supervisor in a timely and accurate manner
    to timely, accurate aircraft enrollment as necessary

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 2 Year degree from an accredited university or trade school (Preferred)
  • Minimum of 5 years of aviation maintenance, planning, or tracking experience including exposure to Logs and Records or a 4year degree, from an accredited university, in an equivalent degree program
  • Intermediate to advanced level of experience using MS Excel
  • Ability to parse data from MS Excel
  • Familiarity with the use of web-based applications and remote desktop functionality
