THE CUSTOMER

Headquartered in Mobile, Alabama, Cooper/T. Smith is one of America’s oldest and largest stevedoring and maritime-related firms with operations encompassing thirty-eight ports. The company has facilities on all three U.S. coasts and foreign operations in Brazil and Mexico.

Cooper/T. Smith owns and operates a Dassault Falcon 2000, which is used principally for business travel within the continental US.

Originally from New York, Jeff Michlowitz is Cooper/T. Smith’s Director of Aviation, Director of Maintenance and Chief Pilot. Jeff has 30 years of industry experience. Most notably, he worked as a heavy maintenance test pilot with Amerijet International where he developed an expertise with Boeing 727s. Later in his career, Jeff flew a Dassault Falcon 2000EX for men’s clothing retailer JoS. A. Bank.
