The customer

Headquartered in Dallas, Texas, My Jet Guy Aviation is a business aviation management and consulting boutique. The company manages a Hawker 800XP, which provides domestic and international on-demand charter flight services.

Ron Manning is My Jet Guy’s Vice President, Operations. He has 25 years of experience in flight department operations, customer service, general management, safety and scheduling/dispatch management. Ron has worked with several business aircraft operators including Gold Jets, Lion Heart Aviation, Regal Aviation, Jet Aviation and Bombardier FlexJet.

Ron likes to say he grew up in aviation: “My father flew helicopters for the Las Vegas Police Department. Later, he became an ordained minister and we moved to Mexico. He continued flying – taking supplies to missionaries in remote locations. Then, we moved to Texas when he became a demonstration pilot with Aerospatiale, demoing helicopters for law enforcement agencies across the country.”

“My Jet Guy is fairly unique,” continues Ron. “We’re a small team, we manage one aircraft and our client/aircraft owner uses it about 70% of the time. The rest of the time, it is available for on-demand charter. Our missions are mostly domestic with a few trips to Mexico and the Caribbean. We principally serve high-net-worth-individuals, whether they are travelling for business or pleasure.”
