Nomad Aviation offers aircraft management and charter services. The company operates an exclusive fleet of 15 aircraft, ranging from light jets to VVIP airliners, including: Airbus A319 ACJ, Gulfstream 650, Gulfstream 450, Bombardier Global 5000, Bombardier Challenger 604, Bombardier CRJ 100, Embraer Legacy 650, Embraer Legacy 600, Cessna Citation CJ2+ and Cessna Citation CJ1+. Nomad has offices in Zurich/Kloten, Switzerland and recently opened a 7,400-square-meter maintenance facility at EuroAirport Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg, which serves the border region of Switzerland, France and Germany.
Frank Bauer is Nomad’s Maintenance Manager. He has been in this role for the last year and has more than 30 years of aviation industry experience.
“I started my career in the late 80s as an Aircraft Engineer with the German Navy,” explains Frank. “Later, I moved to Switzerland and held several roles, including: Maintenance Controller at NetJets, Maintenance Coordinator at Jet Aviation and Deputy CAM at ExecuJet. Also, I continue to serve as a freelance Airworthiness Inspector with the San Marino Registry.”
